Farzi Café Kolkata's design is a vibrant homage to the city's rich cultural tapestry, seamlessly blending traditional elements with modern aesthetics. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a lit-up bookshelf adorned with colorful acrylic books, complemented by black-and-white photographs of old Calcutta, evoking a sense of nostalgia.
The interiors celebrate iconic facets of Kolkata:
Terracotta Art: Dome lights featuring terracotta danglers pay tribute to Bengal's renowned terracotta craftsmanship.
Kumartuli and the Flower Market: A wall adorned with taxi-yellow masks and flower murals reflects the vibrancy of these cultural landmarks.
Industrial Heritage: The "Hawa Aane Do" installation, comprising moving fans, draws inspiration from the city's significant industrial background.
The color palette incorporates greens, pinks, and yellows, infusing the space with a youthful and energetic ambiance. Unique details, such as trumpet-shaped stools in the bar area, subtly nod to Kolkata's deep-rooted musical heritage.
